Switches, potentiometers and capacitors are usually fine on all but the cheapest of cheap guitars, but high-quality replacements can be bought cheap from places like mouser.com. Ive been lucky to spend lots of quality time with it but I cant justify an extra $1k+ either. At the first frets, the neck seems very thin. I love my Ibanez AZ, but I recently got a Fender American Ultra and it's a pretty damn good guitar that is similar in a few aspects.. so let's take a look .
