In the ten days I was with AFIT I flew more in ten days than I had with my previous school in six months. The other instructors that I met along the way were very nice as well. Even though I dont plan on becoming a commercial pilot, Cholenas experience flying charters made for very interesting side discussions about high performance airplanes, IFR, and the business of flying. Flying with Sean is more than just flight school. He was able to explain complex subjects and instructions in a simple, easy to understand way and always had an answer to every question I had. Ive had previous training and both Tony and my instructor, Aiden, were extremely helpful and flexible to accommodate this. I think hes a great CFI. The three trainers I met in Lincoln are all great. Student pilots are expected to: Attend five days of ground school training for at least two hours per day and five or six flight lessons per week. John was well organized and didnt waste any time. I am grateful that I was able to have such a knowledgeable instructor that I rate as second to none.
